Lee Dickinson: Director
Lee has an impressive background, having served in HM Forces from 1996 to 2008, where he completed multiple operational tours around the world. This extensive military experience not only honed his skills but also instilled a strong work ethic that laid the foundation for his future successes.
In 2008, Lee took the courageous step of founding his own driving instructor school, beginning with just one vehicle. Through dedication and perseverance, he expanded his business to include car and trailer training. Recognizing the evolving needs of drivers, he boldly ventured into HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) and minibus training, as well as specialized programs like MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) and PA (Passenger Assistant) training.
Extensive knowledge & Experience
Lee’s unwavering commitment to excellence shines through in his consistent attainment of a Grade A rating in the instructor field, establishing him as a trailblazer in driver education. He proudly holds the title of HGV Master Driver, reflecting his advanced expertise in heavy vehicle operations. Additionally, Lee possesses a National Diploma in advanced driving, showcasing his deep understanding of driving techniques and safety protocols. As a certified Police Class 1 driver, he exemplifies the utmost standards in driving skills.
Today, as a Driving Instructor Trainer, Lee passionately imparts his extensive knowledge and experience to aspiring instructors. He is committed to nurturing the next generation of driving professionals, inspiring them to uphold the highest standards of teaching and driving safety. Through his work, Lee is shaping a brighter future for the driving community.

Lee was one of the founding members of Garstang’s Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club, an organization that has continued to thrive over the years. Since its inception, the club has provided a supportive community for veterans and members of the armed forces, offering them a space to connect, share experiences, and enjoy a hearty breakfast together.
Today, the club remains a vital part of the local community, fostering camaraderie and appreciation for those who have served. Lee’s dedication and vision were instrumental in establishing this enduring initiative, which still flourishes as a testament to the bonds formed among its members.
Lee was thrilled to receive the Mayor’s Award for Community Person of the Year, celebrating his incredible contributions to the Garstang community! His enthusiasm for helping others and making a positive impact has truly brought people together.
Through various fun initiatives and lots of volunteer work, Lee has become a cherished part of the community, spreading kindness and support wherever he goes. This award is a wonderful recognition of all the heart and hard work he puts into enhancing life in Garstang!
